Hi Mr. & Mrs. Hintzke,
I just got this today and thought I would pass it on to you. I was really happy to know that the movie boxes were received. My parents were really excited too.
Thanks again for everything.

Hello Andrew!
I'm Sonya. I am Combat Logistical Patrol (said CLP or CLIP) #3's Platoon leader. I wanted to let you know that I'm writing you back through snail mail and I figured I would send you a picture too.
This picture was taken about three weeks ago. We are a Brigade Support Battalion. Basically, we provide all the help to the men and women fighting the fight. We take supplies out to their small out posts and help with anything that they could possibly need. We work unpredictable hours and long days.
Iraq is a hot place. The popcorn, candy and movies you sent I passed out this morning to my lower enlisted Soldiers. They spent about 15 minutes taking pics (I'll send you them as soon as I get them), trading popcorn, candy and movies, and talking about how nice it was that someone so far away is thinking about keeping them happy. We've been extended so things are just starting to get tough. Some of my Soldiers won't see home in over a year.
The good news is that we are doing well. They keep their chins up and work hard for my Platoon Sergeant and myself. They're amazing Soldiers. I'm proud that you support them as much as I do. Thank you for that.
Thank you Sincerely,
Sonya S. Standefer

was one that the Troop received from this project.
